Offer a gift of comfort and beauty to a family suffering from loss.
A gift to your family, sparing them hard decisions at an emotional time.
It is not always possible to pay respects in person, so we hope that this small token will help.
Funeral Directors & Embalmers
|Diane Schafer, Funeral Director Apprentice|
Diane joined our staff in December 2007 as receptionist and hostess. With a sincere passion for helping and comforting families, she later decided to pursue a funeral apprenticeship. She feels that serving people is part of her nature, and has worked as a licensed cosmetologist for many years.
Diane was raised in Memphis. In 1983, she and her Navy husband, Harry, moved their family to Virginia’s east coast, where they lived for 25 years. It was the birth of granddaughter Zoe that brought Diane and Harry back to Memphis. Together, they have raised four children. Diane’s son, Marty, is a Memphis firefighter and her daughter, Angela, teaches mortuary science at Northwest Community College.
Following Harry’s retirement from the Navy after 30 years of active duty, the couple now enjoys spending time riding a 2006 Goldwing motorcycle. They are District Directors for Goldwing Road Riders Association (GWRAA) for the state of MS.
